Cisa official cautions on further expansion

There is little room for further growth in steel capacity in China, according to Li Xinchuang, deputy secretary-general of the country's steel industry association Cisa. “Although there is no exact statistics, I estimate China's steel capacity has reached 900mt/y. There is very small room for further growth in capacity,” Li was quoted as saying by state news agency Xinhua.
