DuPont's crop protection sales rose by 7% to $929 million in the first quarter of 2012, with gains from volumes and prices. The increase reflects a strong, early season in Europe and continued growth for the insecticide, chlorantraniliprole (trade-marked as Rynaxypyr), the company points out.
