Production logging (PL) in deviated and horizontalwells has many challenges including complexities ofthe flow regimes, inadequacies of measurements andinsufficiencies of interpretation methodologies. Theselimitations result in uncertainties, which if not managedproperly, can result in substantial errors in the calculatedflow rates and can negatively affect well and reservoirmanagement decisions.
