Mathematical model of energy system of automatic frequency-load control with central combined regulator

This paper presents some results of modeling and testing for process control based on the PLC programming software package ConCept and another software (includes Matlab/Simulink) and some review of process modeling. Based on a real object (state diagram) it was investigated, and on its base an object model and control program have been implemented. It is shown how to facilitate the simulation of the energy system control by using a combined regulator. Explanation of the methodology is presented, there are investigated some particular problems of applying abstract data types in systems for control technology. Some facilities in designing the algorithms and advantages of this approach are shown.
