Polish producers forced to reduce domestic prices for structurals

The market for structurals in Poland has been unfavorable for the producers in early October. Demand has dropped sharply overthe past month and market operators do not expect it to recover amid nearing cold months. The mills tried to put up domestic pricesby EUR 10/t in September citing high raw material prices for that moment but failed to push through the increase. Moreover, thesuppliers have had to trim October list prices facing low buyer interest amid the general downward trend in the region.
