Nearly 15,800 acres to be offered at Oct. 30 state oil and gas lease auction

LANSING, Mich.-The second auction sale of oil and gas lease rights to state of Michigan-owned minerals of 2018 has been given approval to proceed by Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Director Keith Creagh, with nearly 15,800 acres located in 10 Lower Peninsula counties to be offered on Oct. 30, 2018 at the Lansing Center.
