In early September, the South Australian branch facilitated a technical site tour at Tonsley Park, which is part of Flinders University. This technical site tour was held as a joint meeting with the Society of Plastics Engineers, and was also an opportunity to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Materials Australia. Flinders at Tonsley is focused on areas such as engineering, medical devices and nanoscale technologies, to create the new products and processes of the 21st century.
