It was a mixed picture in the plate marketduring March. The Asian market hasbegun to slow down after a robust startto the month, while US and Europe lookforward to higher pricing in the comingweeks. Extended lead times and sparsespot availability, on the back of 25% importtariffs, forced US plate buyers to hunt for anyavailability in early March, while end-usersscrambled to secure tons.
