Demolition Services undertook a successful demolition of the bunker bay at Ironbridge Power Station shortly after 1 lam on Friday 17th July 2020,working in partnership with SES Explosives Engineers.The company is headed up by CEO Jenna Romani-Arnold and despite fierce competition,a backlash of doubt and uncertainty from the industry,she has taken the company from strength to strength.The company's demolition portfolio to date is impressive,however works at the Ironbridge Power Station has put the company on a whole new level.The steel bunker bay structure was the first of three planned explosive events in order to bring down the former boiler house,with the turbine hall itself having been demolished using traditional high reach methods earlier this year.The company had already executed the explosive demolition of the four cooling towers on the same site in December 2019.
