Maintenance work continued on 27 September at Flint Hills’ 260,000 b/d refinery in Corpus Christi, Texas. The refiner began restart work in late August after equipment was shut as Hurricane Harvey approached the Texas coast. A fare gas re- covery unit (FGRU) unexpectedly shut off during maintenance activities on that day, according to a fling to state environ- mental monitors. The incident resulted in approximately two and a half hours of intermittent faring. The cause of the shut- down was unknown, according to the fling.
