Workshop on Best Management Practices for Sustaining Soil Health and Enhancing Quality of Produce

The Fertiliser Association of India-Southern Region organized a Workshop on”Best Management Practices(BMPs)for Sustaining Soil Health and Enhancing Quality of Produce”at ICAR-Sugarcane Breeding Institute(SBI),Coimbatore on 29th August 2019.Mr.S.Narayanan,Chairman,FAI-Southern Region and Director(Marketing),Splc and Greenstar Fertilizers Limited,Chennai inaugurated the workshop.Dr.Bakshi Ram,Director,ICAR-SBI and Dr.R.Pannerselvam,Director,Water Technology Centre,Tamil Nadu Agricultural University(TNAU),Coimbatore were the guests of honour.Seventy two participants comprising of scientists from TNAU,ICAR research institutes,officials from the state department of agriculture,Government of Tamil Nadu and fertilizer industry participated in the workshop.
