CPC Blend exports rise in March…

Exports of light Caspian sour CPC Blend dipped by 7pc on the month to 1.237mn b/d (4.8mn t) in January 2018. But exports were still 16pc higher than January 2017 levels, thanks to rising production and exports from Kazakhstan's offshore Caspian Kashagan field. Deliveries to Asia-Pacific and the Americas hit 137,000 b/d - around 28,000 b/d below the 2017 average. Two 135,000t cargoes were shipped to South Korea, while Japan and the US took a cargo each in January.
