HOUSTON (ICIS)--Sustainability continues to be a key theme for the plastics industry, according to several presenters at the Global Plastics Summit 2019 presented by IHS Markit and the Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS). Patty Long, Interim President and CEO of PLASTICS, said that 436 bills seeking to ban, restrict or tax plastic products have been introduced at the local and state levels in the US through the first four months of 2019.
