Refining treatment of aluminium alloys for melt degassing and filtration between the furnace (mixer) and continuous casting machine is using today very widely in the world and national practice. Among different technological processes for refining of aluminium alloys, that have been developed in the All-Russian institute of light alloys, the processes of degassing and fine filtration using ultrasonic (cavitation) treatment of molten flow on its way to the mold take especial place.
