摘要

In this study, a new processing method for enlarging the diameter of a round steel bar is proposed by combiming a cyclic bending stress and another axial compression stress applied, which is about the yield stress of material used. Under various processing conditions, deformation behaviors of a processed part and temperature changes on the surface of the part were measured in this processing method. Moreover, it was experimentally confirmed that the tensile strength of the processed part do not decrease. In addition, the deformation behaviors were modeled in expressions of using equations and deformation-mechanism model was proposed after investigation. In finally, a constant called the cycle paramter was designed, that is to evaluate the processing conditions as one. The deformation behaviors inversely presumed correlated with the constant corresponded well with the experiment results.
