摘要

The transversal equalizer is one of automatic equalization technologies in digital communication system. In electric wave propagation environment by which mobile communication system is assumed, the signal quality is degraded because of multipass phasing, and it is necessary to be improved by variety of communication technologies. However, it is known that the transversal equalizer cannot be used because of no difference in the average electric power of each received signal. In this paper, we pay attention to the difference in the average electric power of each signal after RAKE received, and propose the effectiveness of the transversal equalizer. As a verification method, we assume MC-CDMA and Uplink, and compare bit to error rate (BER) characteristic of using transversal equalizer with BER characteristic of using only RAKE receiver by computer simulation. As a result, it is shown that BER characteristic is greatly improved with the transversal equalizer.
