Ukraine imports less gasoline, more diesel

During the year, the country imported 1.04MM mt (24.2K b/d) of gasoline, which was 57K-mt (1.3K b/d) decrease year-on-year. Deliveries to the local market, both from outside the country and from domestic production, was at 2.02MM mt (47K b/d). The majority of imported gasoline volumes came from Belarus, which reduced shipments by 143K mt (3.3K bbl) compared to 2018 to 693.5K mt (16.15K b/d). Meanwhile, gasoline output from Ukrtatnafta's 368.5K-b/d Kremenchuk refinery and Ukrgazvydobuvannya's gas processing plant in Shebelinsky rose by 58.5K mt (1.36K b/d). On the other hand, imports from Mazeikiu Nafta's 263K-b/d Mazeikiai refinery rose 38.6% compared to 2018 to 328.5K mt (7.65K b/d). In 2019, Ukraine received A-95 gasoline from Russia, Romania, Hungary, and Slovakia was imports made up 51.6% of the market.
