The past few months have been interesting, learning of the number of companies delving into the 'Hydrology Sector'. It falls back on the Regional Councils to ensure their external monitoring is in fact being carried out by a 'qualified person'. But then the question has to get asked as to what does 'qualified mean"? Is qualified a piece of paper? Is it experience? Or is a good combination of both? The technology available today continues to amaze me, with more and more `industry gadgets' available than ever before. The technology certainly helps, but sometimes too much choice can hinder too.
