Platts TSI assessed Turkish importsof premium heavy melting scrap I/II (80:20)at $313.50/mt CFR Wednesday, an $8.50/mtincrease on Tuesday’s assessment.An Iskenderun-based mill bought a NorthAmerican cargo of 30,000 mt shredded, 15,000mt 90:10 and 5,000 mt plate and structural atan average price of $320/mt. Under the Plattsmethodology this normalized to $315/mt for80:20 equivalent.
