Weatherford, BP Settle Claims

Weatherford International said it hasreached an agreement with BP to settleany claims that may have arisen betweenthe companies relating to the DeepwaterHorizon incident and oil spill in the Gulfof Mexico last year.Under the settlement, BP will indemni-fy Weatherford for current and futurecompensatory claims resulting from the incident and the impacts from that event.Specifically, BP will indemnify Weather-ford for environmental, pollution, personal, business, property and economic lossclaims.
