Tullow Makes Heritage Claim

Tullow Oil has filed a $313.5 million legal claim in the UK for breach of contract against former partner Heritage Oil related to its multibillion-dollar acquisition of Heritage’s holdings in Uganda. Heritage said in a stock exchange filing on Monday that Tullow has filed a “particulars of claim” at the UK High Court seeking $313,447,500 related to Tullow’s recent payment of this amount to the Ugandan Revenue Agency.
