Most global potash markets maintained price stability this week but barge prices increased an average of $3/st at New Orleans and producers also reported higher prices in Brazil. The Brazilian market is set to take centre stage next week as players meet in Sao Paulo for the FLA conference. Producers report they are targeting February shipments at $300/mt CFR and buyers previously admitted that deals in the $290s/mt CFR would likely be accepted.
