China: August ammonia imports up significantly

China imported 77,159 mt ammonia in August 2017, a significant rise on the 32,232 mt delivered in August 2016. This brought total ammonia imports in the first eight months of this year to 373,187 mt, up 26% year on year. A total of 183,506 mt was sourced from Indonesia, an increase of 29%, while deliveries from Saudi Arabia were 76,528 mt, up 33%.
