Domestic sulphuric acid prices in much of China increased by RMB 20-30/mt this week, with the firmest tone in Northern China where supply is particularly tight. Meanwhile, Dadi Yuntian, Yuntianhua’s phosphate plant in Inner Mongolia, is ramping up, increasing demand. Prices may reduce in a few weeks as demand from the phosphate market is expected to decline. Several smelters in China are undergoing maintenance from now through the second quarter.
