PhosAgro’s Q1 net income up 6%

PhosAgro posted a 6% year-on-year increase in first-quarter adjusted net income of RUB 14.36 billion ($216 million), the producer said in an earnings statement May 14. “Global market conditions in the first quarter of this year were favourable for fertilizer producers,” PhosAgro Chief Executive Officer Andrey Guryev said. “Higher sales volumes combined with a recovery in prices contributed to quarter-on-quarter EBITDA growth of more than 50%.”
