Spain's Repsol has posted an increase in profit for Q3 2018 on the back of improvements in its upstream business. Repsol said that its operating income for Q3 2018 rose to US $1.07 Bn (€934m) from $745.1m (€653m) in Q3 2017. Repsol's adjusted net income increased to $670.9m (€588m) in this year's Q3 from $602.5m (€528m) in Q3 2017. The Spanish operator's net income increased to $713.2m (€625m) from $601.4m (€527m) in Q3 2017.
