SeaBird wins CGG work

SeaBird Exploration has won a contract extension for the Eagle Explorer vessel from France’s CGG. The Eagle Explorer, formerly Geowave Voyager, joined SeaBird’s fleet in November 2018. SeaBird bought the vessel from CGG for US $17m and, at the same time, gained a preferred supplier status with CGG. SeaBird and CGG then entered into a contract for the Eagle Explorer to operate as a source vessel, which it has been doing since November. In December 2018, the vessel com- pleted its 10-year class docking.
