RDS wins drilling design

RDS, a unit of KCA Deutag, has landed a contract for the detailed design of a drilling facility for an offshore platform. The contract will last for one year, with future follow on support executed from RDS’s London offices. This is RDS’s first detail design award for a new green field platform since the oil price decline in 2014, said KCA. RDS has not named the platform or its location.
