US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un agreed to work toward the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula during a historic meeting in Singapore on Tuesday. The two leaders signed a document to that effect, but it was light on concrete specifics and there was no firm commitment from North Korea to end its nuclear program nor a peace treaty to formally bring an end to the 1950-53 Korean War.
