US Diversifies Oil Exports

Exports of crude oil from the US climbed slightly from March to April, according to data from the US Census Bureau. The Census Bureau’s report - published several weeks before the closely watched Petroleum Supply Monthly from the Energy Information Administration (EIA) - shows the US shipped some 2.8 million barrels per day abroad in April, up by roughly 100,000 b/d from the previous month (OD Jun.4’19). April also saw some muted Chinese buying of US crude at about 62,000 b/d.
