Crude Oil Prices Post Small Gains, Market Bearishness Lingers

Crude oil futures prices posted small gains Monday, following five days of losses. Trade was, however, quiet thanks to the Martin Luther King holiday in the US. Nymex February WTI futures were up 42￠ at $78.42 per barrel in late afternoon trade, while ICE March Brent futures were trading 19￠ higher at $78.42/bbl.
