Tenaris is temporarily ceasing production at a pair of pipe plants in North America because of the ongoing decline in demand from the oil and gas industry.The company will idle Prudential, a welded pipe mill producing oil country tubular goods (OCTGs) and line pipe products in Calgary, Alberta, while existing inventories work through the market.
