Exported Coal from Caval R. Coal Mine in FY2013/14 960,000 Tons

According to the Department of Natural Resources and Mines of the State of QLD, Australia, 964,000 tons of coal produced at Caval Ridge coal mine, a new metallurgical coal mine run by BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) was exported in FY2013/14 (one year ending on 30 June 2014). The export volume by coal type was 870,000 tons of metallurgical coal and 94,000 tons of thermal coal, of which the export volume to China was 597,000 tons (503,000 tons of metallurgical coal and 94,000 tons of thermal coal) which comprised 62% of the total.
