Japanese Mills' Central Prices of CR Austenitic Stainless Sheets to $3,100 CFR

The Japanese mills' negotiations on cold-rolled (CR) austenitic stainless steel sheets for Asia have been advancing for August shipment, and their central contracted prices seem to be the level of $3,100 CFR. Their contracts have been settled mostly at the range of $3,000-3,200. Contracted quantity of each mill is increasing from the previous month but contracts on a spot basis are few, and those with customers having existing long-term relationship are many.
