NSENGI Receives Order on BF Revamping Works from JSW

Nippon Steel & Sumikin Engineering (NSENGI) announced on 6th that the company has received an order on the revamping works of a blast furnace (BF) of the Dolvi Works from JSW Steel being the biggest private steel manufacturer in India jointly with Marubeni. Its scope of the order is to cover the revamping and expanding works of an existing BF (furnace volume 2,581 m3) at the Dolvi Works having been operated in southwest of that country, and after such works, its furnace volume is expanded to 4,233 m3 and its production quantity of crude steel increases from 3 million tons to 4-4.5 million tons a year.
