Brazil Imports 2.38 Mil MT Of LNG In CY 2012

According to the trade statistics of Brazil, the country imported 2,380,000 MT of LNG in calendar year 2012. The average import price was US$650.46/MT, up 24.6% from the previous year. Until 2011, the country had imported monthly 50,000-60,000 MT in one lot and the import volume in CY 2011 amounted to 557,000 MT.
