The strike action at Elkview coal mine in British Columbia under operation by Teck Resources Ltd. of Canada has come to show an indication of longer duration. As reported before, at Elkview coal mine, due to breakdown of negotiations between the management and labor side over revision of the Labour Agreement of the mine, the workers under the wing of the United Steelworkers (USW) have been continuing strike action from the night of 30th January. In consequence, already ten days period has elapsed from the outbreak of the strike, but the prospect on termination of the action has not yet been foreseen.
