Output Of Nickel-Contained Pig Iron In China For February 2010 Decreased- Produced 248,000 Tons On Material Base, Equivalent To 12,500 Tons Of Nickel Content

According to an information from China, this country produced 248,000 tons in material of nickel-contained pig iron ( including low grade ferro-nickel ), corresponding to 12,500 tons on nickel content base, in February of 2010, which decreased by 15% on material base and by 11% on nickel content base in comparison with those produced in the previous month of January. This decline of the output in February is supposed to have been influenced by Lunar New Year held in China in an early part of February. The averaged content of nickel in nickel-contained pig iron produced in February was 5%.
