China's Baosteel Group announced July 8 that its Ore Center at Majishan Port set record operational results in about 20 items during the first half year of 2010 more than what it had expected. Baosteel says, records were set in terms of single month operation, day and night operation, cargo throughputs and others, amidst adverse weather conditions and impacts from the volatile iron ore markets.
