Funds to target side effects

FUNDING to the tune of ￡7.5m is being offered to UK companies that are developing tests to identify patients at risk of drug side effects, and those who will not respond to treatment. Proposals to the Government-funded initiative should be "industrially focused and business-driven" and address a particular licensed treatment and education.
