SOON, provided the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's Assembly ratifies the move at its meeting later this month, the Society will open its doors to pharmaceutical scientists. Although pharmacy itself is increasingly recognised as a clinical, patient-focused profession, it has strong roots in science.
