摘要

As chairman of both the Indonesian Spinners' Association (SE-KBERTAL) and the ASEAN Federation of Textile Industries (AFTEX), and as an associate director of the Liverpool Cotton Association, I believe that it is my professional responsibility to workwith individuals and international organizations to protect and enhance the rights of both buyers and sellers of raw cotton fiber. To that end, I believe that the rules that currently govern the international trade of cotton need to be improved so thatthey more adequately reflect the rights of both cotton buyers and sellers.
