In March of this year,I made the not too difficult decision to retire from community pharmacy having realised some time ago that there was more to life then just that.Although I did not advertise the fact that I was retiring other than to colleagues in the company and friends locally,I have been amazed at the number of requests I have received since March to help other pharmacists out at short notice within a 10-mile or more radius of home.
