INTERNATIONAL engineering firm Foster Wheeler has been awarded the project management and consultancy (PMC) contract for a new US$9bn refinery and petrochemicals complex in Vietnam. The Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical (NSRP) complex will be built in Vietnam's Nghi Son Economic Zone, in the Thanh Hoa Province. It will include an integrated refinery capable of processing 200,000 bbl/d of crude, as well as a petrochemicals unit with an integrated aromatics complex and polypropylene facilities.
