Asian butadiene fell $30/mt and $15/mt on week to $725/mt FOB Korea and $740/mt CFR China, respectively, Friday, as domestic prices in China continued their dramatic fall. East China domestic price fell Yuan 300/mt to Yuan 6,000/mt ex-tank Friday, after dropping Yuan 350/mt to Yuan 6,450/mt last Friday. In South Korea, there was ample spot cargoes available with all major South Korean producers offering - some of those cargoes were sold to South Korean domestic buyers, sources said.
