Asian high density polyethylene prices fell $20-40/mt on the week on thin demand ahead of the Lunar New Year holidays. HDPE film grade plunged $40/mt to $1,120/mt CFR Far East Asia, while Southeast Asia was down $15/mt to $1,125/mt CFR. In South Asia, HDPE film grade prices edged lower by $10/mt to $1,140/mt CFR. HDPE yarn was assessed at $1,120 /mt CFR Far East Asia, and $1,125/mt for CFR Southeast Asia, down $20/mt and $15/mt respectively.
