The Asian PVC market was quiet this week as most participants waited on the sidelines for major producer Taiwan’s Formosa to announce its April offers, most likely at the end of this week or early next week. PVC on a CFR China basis was assessed flat from last week at $1,030/mt Wednesday amid thin discussion. “Formosa’s April PVC offer prices will likely be similar to March levels or $10-20/ mt lower,” a market source said. Formosa offered March PVC at $1,060/mt CFR China, $1,060/mt CFR Southeast Asia and $1,080/mt CFR India.
