The US PET market is bracing itself for hikes of up to 6 cents/lb amid producer announcements this week on the back of stronger feedstocks. Indorama Ventures — including Indorama Ventures USA Inc., Alphapet, Inc. and Auriga Polymers Inc. — Nan Ya Plastics and DAK Americas have all announced increases of 6 cents/lb on all PET grades effective October 1 in letters to customers that were obtained by Platts.
