Northwest European acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene prices erased earlier gains to close down Eur15/mt at Eur1,995/mt FD NWE for general purposeatural grade, at Eur2,315/mt for coloreds and at Eur2,365/mt for auto-black, high-heat grade. Despite earlier nominations, producers concluded most settlements for September at an increase of Eur50- 60/mt, having received no acceptance at higher levels. Demand was described as "rather soft" while at least two producers mulled production cuts in October as margins were dwindling.
