Bashneft sees oil output growth slowing next year

Moscow—Bashneft, Russia’s sixth largest crude producer, expects to see its sector-leading production growth slow next year as a wave of new output from recent project start-ups and acquisitions begins to ebb. The company estimates its crude production to rise to 20 million mt, or around 400,000 b/d, in 2016, up 5.3% year on year from 19 million mt expected this year, the company’s CEO Alexander Korsik said late Thursday.
